Detail Photo Mosaic

The detail style lets you tailor the number and size of the mosaic tiles even more precisely to your original image. In areas where the original contains a lot of detail, the tiles are automatically split into many smaller tiles.

You can choose between one and four refinement steps. With each step, one tile is divided into four equally sized tiles. At the same time, you can also adjust the minimum color variation of the tiles. The smaller the variation, the more tiles will be split. All tiles in the mosaic have the same format, and you can choose between portrait, landscape, and square formats. You can freely set the number of tiles in the mosaic image before refinement.
