The company sixdots GmbH, the business behind rapid.art, was founded by Steffen Satrapa and is a software development company with a special focus on photos and personalized print products.

Rapid-Collage

With Rapid-Collage, you can easily create photo collages directly in your browser. A wide selection of lovingly designed templates - from numbers and letters to hearts and grid patterns - are available and can be customized.

Rapid-Mosaic

Rapid-Mosaic allows you to create photo mosaic images where many small photos merge into a big overall picture. The software sets all parameters automatically and offers different mosaic variants that can be ordered directly in the webshop.

Rapid-Map

With Rapid-Map, you can design personalized city maps and order them as print products. Users can enter an address, customize the design and colors, and add individual texts to create unique and personal maps.

Our Story

For over 20 years, we've been part of the internet's evolution, from the dawn of digital photography to the latest smartphone trends. Our journey began with the launch of Foto-Mosaik-Edda, a software that first allowed tech-savvy users to create stunning photomosaic images for free.

In 2014, Rapid-Mosaik made it even easier: the software set all parameters automatically and allowed users to select from multiple variations at the end of the creation process, ordering the desired photomosaic directly from the webshop. Since then, we've closely collaborated with a local, family-run print shop with premium standards for the production of print products.

In 2018, we developed an online version of Rapid-Mosaik. This allowed our users to create photomosaic images directly over the internet and access them from their smartphones. It's a trend moving away from standalone installation software towards web-based applications and mobile use.

In 2020, we expanded our offerings with Rapid-Collage. This web application makes it easy to design photo collages in the browser. Many lovingly crafted templates – from numbers and letters to hearts and grid patterns – can be customized individually.

With Rapid-Map, added in 2023, we offer a platform where customers can design personalized city maps and order them as print products. Users can enter an address, adjust design and colors, and add personalized text.

In 2024, we finally unified all our products under the rapid.art brand to provide our customers with a more cohesive and enhanced experience.
